24th of July Weekend Fun!

We had a blast this past weekend with all of our fun activities that were going on. First off Friday morning we went up and watched the parade downtown. I love the parade and it just doesn't seem like the 24th if I don't do...even if my bum is killing me by the end. We then came home had a nap and went to the bees game, which turned out not to be a Bees game because the opposing team didn't show up. It turned out to be fun anyway though. They did a home run derby then the two all star high school teams of the state played a 6 inning game, and then we got the most amazing fireworks show I think I've ever seen. Plus they gave us a voucher for 2 more Bees games, 1 Preseason Jazz game, and 1 time at the Larry Miller motor sports park per person because the other team didn't show. Not to shaby if I do say so myself.

Here's us with my little shadow Juliana. She wouldn't let me out of her sight the whole night! It was really cute!

Issybelle and Juliana the best of buds! Issybelle was so cute whatever snack she had, the whole night she would bring me some. What a good sharer.

Mom and Dad. Jake had asked the Bees to put up a sign for them during the game that said Welcome home Elder and Sister Smith, since originally this game was supposed to be 6 days after their homecoming, we all still cheered!

Scott trying to be sneaky. We couldn't afford any snacks so he thought he needed to mooch off of everyone else. He's trying to steal some of Michele's peanuts. They absolutly love him though so it doesn't matter. They brought him a Dr. Pepper later in the game....psh.

Saturday we went to the Zoo with Scott's family for Sandra's birthday. We had a blast there too! This is us in the gift shop trying on masks.
Ellie and Nathan trying on masks with us.

Me and Scott...ahh precious moments!

I was thirsty

The elephant show...not all that exciting . This is the pregnant one. Her baby is due in like 3 weeks just FYI if you are planning a future trip wait til she's born and call and find out what time they will be showing her off at.

Jen playing pick-a-boo with Erin at the bird show. Super cute!

This is Nathan in front of this huge fan that was blowing out water mixed with the air. he he he...look at his face and tell me that isn't a kid who is always having fun!
Last but not least I thought this was the perfect picture to end my post at the end of the month of our Independence Day! I hope it will help us remember the principles of which this Nation was founded on. It's hard to remember those things when you see the news and hear about all the troubling things of today. But let us remember and never forget that this land is a land of promise that was founded "Under God" And let us ever be grateful for where we live!

Our Summer Days!

Pics from our fun past few weekends:

So the bone we gave Oreo for Easter and was gone 45 minutes later, yeah well we found it. My Dad had tilled the garden again and Oreo found where she had buried it and ate it right up. Aparently we just need to get them soft before we give them to her.

Lenny's B-day we brought our slip'n'slide. Nathan loved it! He was really mad when Scott went down it and ripped it.

I can't get over how much Erin looks like she could be Scott's baby.....hmm...maybe it's like Danielle and Scott have a lot of the same featuresor something. Super cute though.

Trenton, Me, and Britney playing in the water.

Liberty Park Fun!

Trenton and Britney on the teeter-totter.
It took Trenton and Britney to do it with Scott and together they still couldn't do it!
Us

Britney and Trenton figured out how to make this thing shoot out. They're so cute!

Then we played some softball/baseball. Trenton and Britney are some good bal players! We had a lot of fun!

Draper Pool Swimming!

We had so much fun this weekend with Britney and Trenton while both of our Parents were on vacation. They are so full of life and energy and just kept us laughing the whole time. Me and Scott just absolutly love them and hope we can have two just like them one day!

Independence Weekend!

Well we had a wonderful and fun weekend with family this weekend here's some pics:

Oreo. This is actually a souple weeks old but she is so cute I had to post it. We had just got done shaving her and bathing her. we had to give her 2 seditives for her to let us shave her...she was a little hung over, it was pretty funny to watch her try and be normal and jump up on the porch and completely miss it and have it not even fase her.

Joshy turned the big 16 on 3rd! She actually had her first "date" this weekend too, she brought him to the fireworks with everyone. It was fun...definatly an idea for getting used to..Josh dating...Ahh!!! Love you girl!

Me and Scott used the rainchecks Brandon and Danielle gave us and went to Boondocks for 3 hours for free on the 4th! Thanks guys we had a blast! We did everything! Here's me on the bumper boats.

Scott trying to squirt me....the little stinker!

This is Hillbilly golf. You had to spin this before every hole and it would tell you what you had to do. It was fun! It made for a little bit more interesting game.

Here's Scott golfing with his foot.

Me golfing with the wrong end of the club.

Scott doing some batting cages.

Me doing some batting cages and doing some awesome batting if I do say so myself!

Us! Go Team!

Then We did some arcades! This is Scott on the Motorcycle. We got us enough tickets for some big yummy mouth watering airheads! Yeah!

So it was a fun day. Boondocks, dutch oven ribs and punch bags from richfield!!!, and of coarse games and fireworks at Jordan High! We forgot our camera for that but it was fun!!
