Presidents Day Weekend!

Thank goodness for this long weekend! We finally just took a break from everything and went and played all weekend...minus the time we were at home with a sick baby. But even with that we still had a lot of fun together!

First Saturday we went to the new Natural History Museum! It was great! It's really nice and they've made it very family friendly and interactive.

Then Monday we went to the aquarium! I have been dieing to see the otters and Scott has never been, so with Tanner being more interactive now we thought it would be fun to take him to see the fish.

 Tanner pettin the sting rays! One came right up the side! I think Scott thought it was going to eat Tanner or something because he pulled him back a little ha ha!

So glad for this wonderful long weekend with my boys! We had a great time!

Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! Me and Tanner did a little photo shoot today with him in his new Charlie Brown shirt. Me and Scott saw it in the store and just could not resist since he's a little baldy!

A MONTH OF FIRSTS!

TANNER IS 6 MONTHS OLD!!

This month has been a pretty crazy month. Tanner has learned and been able to do a lot of first time things this month.

The first thing is he got his first exposure to the car show. Daddy got to take him all by himself for a day out with the guys and look at the cars!

 He got to see his first balloon! 

He got to be a Harvard/Yale student for a day:)

 First time falling asleep in the swing. ha ha!

 First time watching Elmos world!

 First time trying a chocolate frosty! YumYum!! And first time trying a graham cracker!

 First time having to share his toys he he...

 First time having a big boy bath! Which he LOVED!

 First time in his big boy car seat and first time sitting up by himself!

 First visit to the cariologist and unfortunatly not the last:(

 First time understanding the mirror and thinking it's soo cool!

This has been probably the most exciting yet tiring and hard month ever! Tanner is growing and is so big and healthy and strong....but... it's been a long month. It's so hard to understand how a baby that is so healthy and growing so well and has been right on his development can have all these physical problems that he has. His heart, his pee pee and his eye. All I know is that whenever I put him down I just want to pick him right back up for one more kiss. I just love this little boy more than anything and can only hope and pray that everything stays ok with his heart and that I will always be able to enjoy my baby in my life. I am so grateful and blessed that my Father in Heaven sent me such a wonderful boy. A boy with so much love and spirit that is full of energy and is always reaching out with curiosity. A boy that speaks his mind and never let anyone pass him without a smile. A boy that gives mommy the best kisses ever! I truly am blessed.
