Being an Aunt is the Best!!!

So This past week was Issybelle's 2nd birthday and Christena's play for school, which she had one of the main parts for and the most lines to memorize plus to solos to sing! So I have some pictures of the two cuties, but first I just have to say that I love being an Aunt! It is like the best job in the world! And I love all my nieces and nephews like they were my own kids.....hmm...maybe that's why I always call them my kids! (actually my sister-in-law told me that ever since I became an Aunt that's what I called them and that was when I was five-so no one get offended I just love them). But anyways, here's some pics:

Here is Christena in her play. She did soo good! I am just so proud of her! She definatly had the most lines to memorize (which it was a hour play) and she had two solos which she sang beautifully! I tried to post one of them but it wouldn't let me.....But anyways, the play all took place in a court room scene where Christena (the fairy godmother-and the prosecutor) was trying to convict the big bad wolf of all his crimes. The defense was the "wicked step mother". It was really cute. And stena did soo good!

Bridal Shower's are more fun after you're married!

So on Friday me and My friend Mckenzie through a bridal shower for our friend Paige. It was so much more fun doing a bridal shower now that I'm married than it ever has been before. We had a lot of fun getting ready for it and buying her a present. For her bridal shower we went with the traditional honeymoon basket as our gift. It was awesome. So much funnier doing it to someone else rather than getting it done to you.
But the party was fun. It was good to talk to friends that I hadn't seen for a while. Scott went and hung out with Cherise's husband Jared during the shower and so afterwards we didn't want to ruin the fun so me, Cherise and Mckenzie all decided to hang out to. So we went to Sonic and got ourselves a hot dog, at 11:00 pm mind you, and talked. And around midnight we crashed the party. Of coarse we still stayed and talked til like 1:30am. Yeah I haven't been up that late for a while. But it was fun to hang out with the friends. So here's some pics.

This was funny. So while paige was opening her presents, Mckenzie wrote down everything she said and then we read them back to her and told her this is what she has to say on her Honeymoon. It was really funny. Paige was sooo enbarrassed it was most excellent!

Last week!

Well this week definately had it's good points and it's bad ones. First off on Tuesday i went and got my hair done and while I was there my debit card got stolen. Freak me out. So it has been a nightmare trying to deal with that. Scott called that night and got them to cancel it and then went in the next day to get them to issue out new ones. So then we got our new one in the mail and it had already been opened. Yeah the package was perfectly ripped open. So now we have to wait again. It's really crappy because we can't get online to check anything and since we don't have our cards we have to go get cash everytime we need it. So that was our bummer this week.

Other than that things were great last week. We got to go to Idaho for Randall's jazz concert on Friday with Michele and Steve and their kids. It was fun. Me and Scott started learning the swing. He is so sweet. He always dances with me even though he feels so inadequet at it. It was fun. Michele and Steve just crack us up all the time and we just always have fun with them. And it was a lot of fun to be with Randy and Connie and Randall Friday night. Then Saturday I got to go to a bridal shower for my friend Asa's fiance Seante with Scott's mom. And Sunday was Erin's baby blessing. She is so cute. And her little dress that Sandra made turned out so pretty. So here's some pics:

Randall teaching me a thing or two on the dance floor. He's quite the dancer. And quite the lady's man. Every song he wasn't playing the trombone (with which he had many solos) He was dancing with a cute girl! That a boy!!
